May 1-2, 2020 - ISCBC Virtual Youth Summit

Join us for ISCBC's Virtual Youth Summit taking place on the Zoom platform. Explore ongoing volunteer projects in habitat restoration, learn from environmental experts, participate in enriching communications workshop and build networks in the invasive species management community and beyond. While the event is focused on Invasive Species, biodiversity and habitat restoration, this event is open to ANYONE! And it is completely free to join!

Day One

On Day One, connect with ISCBC staff, Board and volunteers to hear about habitat restoration and ongoing virtual projects led by ISCBC youth volunteers; hear from Patti Beer, professional aquarist & lifetime volunteer and enjoy a live music concert with Luke Wallace, folk musician.

Day Two:

Events on day two of ISCBC's Youth Summit include: 

  • Nature Documentary
  • Volunteer Panel
  • Explore by Drone! with Justin Perry, Indigenous Youth Leader
  • Communications Workshop with Karen Brandt, Brandt Strategy
  • Volunteer Word Cloud Session

This fully virtual and is free. Join us and connect with like-minded young adults across BC.
